SAFETY

The Greatest Priority

Our number one goal is to ensure every team member goes home safe every day. We work hard to create a culture of safety throughout our organization, where every team member actively cares for themselves and their co-worker each minute of each shift. Through our comprehensive Safety Program and our commitment to continuous improvement, we put our people first.

Key Safety Processes

  • Project Specific Safety & Health Planning

We have established a comprehensive template for our project leaders to plan their work. These templates are utilized and further supplemented with project- and site-specific requirements. It is our road map to ensure that we provide a safe workplace for each employee and that we comply with all OSHA regulations, contract-required safety rules, and project specifications. Traylor Industrial understands that safety must begin during the planning phases.

  • Supervisors Safety Advancement

At Traylor Industrial, we want to empower our supervision with the knowledge they need to provide leadership excellence in actively caring for one another. OSHA 30 Hour training and First Aid & CPR training is provided to our supervision as a foundation to achieve this excellence. Through weekly calls and periodic meetings/training sessions, we strive to provide our people with the information they need to benefit their safety, social, and environmental advancement.

  • New Employee Program

To ensure everyone understands our core values, policies, and expectations, we conduct basic orientation to cover various aspects of the construction industry and applicable equipment safety. We supplement our orientation with project and site-specific requirements/policy review. Traylor Industrial is committed to continually training our people and building our safety culture.

  • Safety Review Program

We are committed to reviewing leading and lagging indicators on our projects and within our culture. Reviews are completed during all phases and at all levels of the project. Our review program involves craft and management to continuously improve our safety culture.
